Outdoor weddings are romantic, beautiful, memorable events. But they're fraught with potential problems for your videographer, some of which you may not have considered.
A high, bright sun means unpleasing, harsh shadows. The two hours after sunrise and before sunset are the best times for photographs and video.
Here's one of several horror stories I've heard - it threatened to rain right as the wedding was about to begin. After a brief downpour, things settled down to a very light drizzle and the bride decided to go ahead. But, the wedding videographer, refused to bring his expensive camcorders outdoors into the drizzle, knowing they wouldn't last ten minutes.
Claiming that he wasn't responsible for the weather, he refused a refund! This couple and their family were deprived of a potential family video heirloom and out a lot of money also.
We at OKVideoGuy.com know the pitfalls of outdoor weddings and we come prepared with raincovers for all video cameras and fur muffs for microphones, so that we can shoot your outdoor wedding video in nearly any (safe) weather you'd like to be married in!
