A couple had emailed saying they were sorry they had chosen another videographer over us. They had an outdoor wedding and it was a beautiful, Oklahoma day. There was just one problem. Actually, no one in the wedding party noticed the problem, and neither did the videographer, until he began editing their video.

There had been about a 10-15 mile per hour wind that day and, although the videographer used foam "windscreens", you could hardly hear the voices over what sounded like a roaring hurricane.

Wedding videograhers should know that "windscreen" is a misnomer. They should be called "very light breeze screens". For 10mph and higher breezes, a fur muff should be used over the microphones. It's little things like this that can make or break your wedding video.
