Looking for wedding video services in Oklahoma City (OKC) (or anywhere in the State of Oklahoma)? Look no further, because OKVideoGuy.com has you covered! We love producing wedding videos at the beautiful Myriad Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City, or at one of the beautiful churches and chapels around the area.
At Myriad Gardens, getting a close-up of the ring ceremony when you're on that little "island" and your videographer has to be way up in the seats - isn't going to happen unless your wedding videographer has a good telephoto lens - not just his zoom lens! That's why you want an experienced, full-time wedding videographer who will have the equipment needed to do the job right.
Check out our free OKC wedding video demo and see how well we cover weddings at the Myriad Gardens.
Or maybe your event is in one of the beautiful churches in OKC? Those churches may be beautiful, but they have notoriously bad lighting for video camcorders. Even great camcorders like the Canon XL2 do poorly in low light, having just a 5.5 Lux rating. Our Sony VX2100s have a 1 Lux rating, meaning they'll give you beautiful, bright colors so that your wedding video will have the same colors your eyes see during your ceremony!
Thinking of calling someone else? Ask them how many professional video camcorders they'll use to produce your OKC wedding video. We use three, on even our lowest-priced plan. Ask how many wireless microphones they'll use. We use one for the minister, one for the groom (it gets the bride too) and one for the father of the bride. Furthermore, we back-up all those with shotgun mics AND we cover the music with another Sony professional camcorder used just for audio. That's six microphones, and we'll use more if the situation warrants.
Why so many microphones? When you watch your demo videos, listen closely to the minister's voice. Does it sound fuzzy and far off? If its not OKVideoGuy.com's video, it probably does, because most wedding videographers don't invest properly in their equipment. You can't pick up the minister clearly from the groom's mic which is typically five or more feet away. Same with the father of the bride, giving his little girl away. Unless he's standing very close to the groom, you may barely hear him unless he's wearing his own mic.
How many videographers will cover your wedding? Understandably, you want videographers and camera people to be unobtrusive. But if there's only one videographer, how will he cover both the bride and groom getting ready at the same time? Some things will be rushed and some things will be missed. OKVideoGuy.com gives you two professional videographers - Bill and Jean. Jean will cover the bride's preparations (and won't you feel more comfortable with a lady in the dressing room?), while Bill covers the Groom, etc.
We get such great shots, covering the ceremony and reception with three camcorders! Again, with even one of those cameras missing, important things - often little things, but important just the same - are missed.
Once we've got all those great video shots, it takes artful editing to put it all together and produce the wedding video you've dreamed about. Bill has been editing video since the eighties (remember the Amiga?). We could go back even further and talk about his teenage days of editing 8mm and 16mm movie film, but we don't want to make him feel too old! Today he uses Premiere Pro, Encore, Audition and After Effects - the same tools many Hollywood producers use, to produce your Oklahoma City wedding video.
Don't short-change yourself. This day comes just once in a lifetime. Let your Oklahoma City wedding video be the best it can be, let Bill and Jean produce your OKC wedding video.
