Short or Long Form Video?
Most wedding videographers offer only one version. Some do only "short-form" wedding videos. These are twenty to thirty minute videos of just the highlights of your day. These are often highly stylized with mostly music backgrounds.
The more popular style is the "long-form" or "documentary" style of wedding video. These are also edited down, but are usually from forty-five minutes to over two hours, just depending on the size of your wedding. We never cut anything out of the long-form wedding ceremony, (from grandparent's entrance to their exit) unless requested by the bride.
We've found that most brides want the long-form version, but later they wish they also had a short-form version. With this option, you don't have to choose which style your wedding video will be in - you can have it both ways!
